Trees - a style and lighting test

After taking a look at this fellows art work, and some of his art pieces, I thought I'd try my hand at making similar piece with some modifications of my own. Each were made by myself using the previously mentioned artist work as a reference, not a trace. so be sure to check on their work. While again using the same paper texture I've used prior.

So far, I'm still quite liking the paper aesthetic, and I think I may even make a background in this style, what do you all think?
